Nirupa is always urging me to write more posts for my female readers. So here's one for you ladies:

Certainly this was the golden age of America. ;-P
Do I long for those days, and wish there were more women like that? No, of course not. Anyone who knows my friends (Nirupa, Mayra, Brande, Robin, Katie [both of them], Linda, etc.) can easily tell that. But that, of course, just makes it more fun to tease them by posting this here.
And gentlemen, for those of you who are looking for that kind of woman, and think she cannot be found, you are wrong. There is a place where you can find your 1950's housewife.
Where, you so desperately ask?
